Launched Newsletter and Website of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Chandigarh-Punjab Chapter in 2009.
During his Chairmanship, IIA membership has increased by three times. Chapter got Best Chapter Award in 2009 and Runners Up Award in 2010 and 2011.
Published two dedicated issues of Indian Architect & Builder Magazine on Chandigarh.
Published one special issue of Journal of IIA on Architecture in Punjab.
He was member of Board of Studies of Punjab Technical University, MM University, Ambala, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar and External Examiner for Thesis for various Universities of North India.
He got Lifetime Achievement Award for excellent in Architectural Diversity from First Friday Forum, Silver Jubilee (1999-2024).
CONTRIBUTION AS MUNICIPAL COUNCILLOR
Worked as Nominated Councillor in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation since 2011 to2016.
Worked as member of High Powered Finance and Contract Committee of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation.
Worked as Chairman of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation’s Committee for Building and Roads till date.
He was Vice Chairman of Road Committee for 2012 term.
He is Member of Municipal Corporation Sanitation Committee for 2016.
He was Member of ApniMandi Committee for 2013.
He was Chairman, Environment Committee for 2013.
He was Chairman, CPWD Manual Committee, 2016
He was Member, Municipal Corporation Water Supply Committee 2015.
